About this Event
The South West Food Hub is working in partnership with Crown Commercial Service to deliver the ‘Future Food Framework’; a new dynamic approach to public sector food procurement that will help small and medium sized producers in the region to sell directly to public sector institutions.
The new approach will open up a valuable new marketplace for the region’s smaller and medium sized producers and suppliers, whilst giving public sector buyers a much wider choice of options to source fresh food through a shorter supply chain.
The West of England sub-region is a crucial component of this pilot and we are keen to engage with procurers, suppliers, influencers and anyone else interested in changing public sector food procurement for the better.
This event provides an overview of the Future Food Framework, what it is aiming to achieve, how it will work and how to get involved. It is the first in a series of events for the West of England.
We would like to invite you to join us on 10 December 2020 to find out more about the Future Food Framework and and how you can get involved.
